As Felicity wandered near the nurses’ station, one of the nurses approached her with a tissue box. She said nothing, but gave Felicity a sympathetic smile as Felicity took a tissue from the box.

“I’m Holly,” she introduced, “Would you like to sit down?”

The door opened just a few seconds after Joseph had knocked. Felicity appeared in the doorway and smiled upon seeing him. She looked fresh and pretty as always, in a smooth rosy-coloured dress.

He stepped inside and revealed the yellow rose he had brought for her.
