Important Information for Fiction Writers
Please read the FWP terms of use now, before you fill out the application form below. Everything in the terms of use is important, but we want to emphasize the following points:
- All content submitted must be content written,
created, and owned by you. All images must be created by you or be media for which you have permission and proper attribution. You acknowledge that you will be responsible for ensuring the content you upload is yours. All submitted content, whether short story, book excerpt, or other fictional material will hereafter be called articles or posts.
- Pseudonyms or pen names are not permitted unless both pen name and legal name are provided on each posting.
- You must not click on any Google Adsense ads on the site. We can and will randomly check IP addresses. Anyone caught clicking on Adsense ads will be banned from the site. Clicking on ads on your pages or encouraging others to do so is click fraud. Click fraud click could result in Google canceling your account.
- You may include ads in your posts providing they conform to FWP’s style requirements.
- Authors are responsible for maintaining their Google Adsense accounts. Ads must meet FWP style requirement, which are outlined in the Revenue Sharing Guideline. You are responsible for all aspects of ad placement and compensation-interaction with Google.
- All articles will be reviewed by FWP editors. Acceptance for publication is at the sole discretion of FWP editorial staff.
- FWP will not accept for publication material which is pornographic, obscene, violent, or hurtful to others. Don’t even submit such material as it will be immediately discarded.
